Your Victory Starts in Your Mind

Romans 8:7
The carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God (word/JESUS), neither indeed can be (For the carnal/sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will). Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
THE CONDITION OF THE HOSTILE: Refuses to listen to the WORD, is skeptical and fearful.
THIS IS THE CONDITION OF THE UNSAVED – THEY WILL NOT MAKE JESUS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOUR AND THEREFORE WILL NOT MAKE PEACE WITH THE FATHER.

Romans 8:5
(For) THESE ARE after the flesh “AND” do mind (MEDITATE ON or ENTERTAIN) the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit (MEDITATE ON/DO ENTERTAIN) the things of the Spirit.
THE BORN AGAIN BELIEVER HAS HIS MIND RENEWED BY THE WORD.

Romans 8:6
– (For to mind the things of the flesh) “is” to be carnally minded, “the result of which is death”; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (VICTORY)

Romans 1:28
(And even as they) “THE UNBELIEVERS” (did) do not like to retain God in their knowledge, “so” God gives them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (because they refused to acknowledge God, “so” he abandoned them their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done.) (DEFEAT)

1 Chronicles 16:15
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; (Jesus) the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

Acts 20:19
Serve the LORD with all humility of mind…(submit yourself to the authority of the WORD, to Jesus)

Romans 7:23
Paul says: (But) I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind (the word of God), and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
The FLESH/CARNAL NATURE and the BORN AGAIN SPIRIT are always at war, your success or defeat will be determined by what you choose to do. Will you submit to the flesh and be defeated, or yield to the spirit and be victorious?

Job 38:36
God questions JOB:
Who has put wisdom in the mind? Or who has given understanding to the heart?
It is God, isn’t it? So, our victory is assured, our success is assured, we have God’s wisdom/God’s knowledge in our spirit mind.

1 Corinthians 2:16
(For) who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
We refers to us, believers – victory starts in our MIND: WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST, WE CANNOT BE DEFEATED.

Romans 12:2
(And) be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Corinthians 3:14
… their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ.
Before Jesus the people’s minds were hardened, and even to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, a veil covers their minds so they cannot understand the truth. And this veil can be removed only by believing in Christ. Thank God for Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:4
The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. There is glory in Jesus, there is victory.

Romans 12:16
…Mind not high things (do not lust/covet, don’t try to act important), (but condescends to men of low estate). Be not wise in your own conceit (do not trust in your own understanding; don’t think you know it all!)

Ephesians 2:3
We all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (Thank God for Jesus).

Ephesians 4:17
Paul is talking: This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth (from the time of your new birth and onwards) walk not as Gentiles (unbelievers) walk, in the vanity of their mind,

Ephesians 4:23
Be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Romans 14:5
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded/convinced in his own mind.

Philippians 2:5
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

Context: 1 Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and sympathetic? 2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one heart and purpose. 3 Don’t be selfish; don’t live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself. 4 Don’t think only about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and what they are doing. 5 Your attitude should be the same that Christ Jesus had. 6 Though he was God, he did not demand and cling to his rights as God. 7 He made himself nothing; F5 he took the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form. F6 8 And in human form he obediently humbled himself even further by dying a criminal’s death on a cross. 9 Because of this, God raised him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name that is above every other name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 3:19
See context

whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame–who set their mind on earthly things.

Col 1:21
We were once alienated and enemies in our mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled us with Him through Jesus, His son.

In Christ, God has reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of his blood on the cross. 21 This includes us who were once so far away from God. We were his enemies, separated from him by our evil thoughts and actions, 22 yet now he has brought us back as his friends. He has done this through his death on the cross in his own human body. As a result, he has brought us into the very presence of God, and we are holy and blameless as we stand before him without a single fault. 23 But we must continue to believe this truth and stand in it firmly. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News.

Col 2:18
Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind

This is the condition of the fleshly mind, it is puffed up, it is full of pride.

Col 3:2
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Luke 12:29
Seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

Do not dwell on the earthly things, for your Father is Jehovha Jireh, He has made provision for you in Christ Jesus.

We need not be fearful…

2Tim.1:7
(For) God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Tit.1:15
To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. Thank God for our salvation. Thank God for Jesus and His blood, which has made us righteous and continues to cleanse us. We have not a conscience of sin, for we have been redeemed.

Heb 8:10
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel (those that are born again, that have Jesus as their Lord, those that believe) after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. We trust in the Lord, we have a sound mind meaning we have wisdom and understanding. We are victors not victims. As we seek to live for God and to comply to His Word, we will have tribulations, but we know, as it is said in

Psalm 3:4
A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all; VICTORY, SUCCESS.

1 Peter 1:13
Therefore LET US gird up the loins of our mind, LET US be sober, and rest our hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to US at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

THE GOOD NEWS TRANSLATION: So then, have your minds ready for action. Keep alert and set your hope completely on the blessing which will be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.

1 Peter 4:1
Since Christ suffered for us* in the flesh, let us arm ourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
AND SO CAN WE, AND SO WILL WE!

Psalm 26:2
Test me, O LORD, and try me, examine my heart and my mind;
In other words: Put me on trial, LORD, and cross-examine me. Test my motives and affections.
